Calpipe Security proudly introduces our new line of QuickKore™ crash rated security bollards designed to mitigate the risk of vehicle-into-building impact. As a result of the increasing number of vehicle-into-building crashes, both local and federal governments are beginning to adopt legislation requiring protective devices, such as bollards, to be installed around storefront properties. As the demand for vehicle impact protection devices increases, the ability to evaluate whether each protective device performs as intended to protect the people, area, or asset is required. Calpipe Security Bollards offers a series of fixed and removable bollards tested and certified to the American Society for Testing Material’s F3016-19 standard, intended to protect people and property that are vulnerable to low-speed vehicular impact. The ASTM F3016-19 standard quantifies the performance of a vehicle protective device in stopping a 5000 lb. vehicle at impact speeds from 10 to 30 mph. Utilizing a short pile foundation design provides more versatility and shorter installation times for the bollard’s application whether it’s a new installation or retrofit project. With this design, the installation time can be reduced from days to just hours.
